- Vida Lab and Vida Experiences need to be booked 24h in advance.
- The services are outsourced with our local partners, we ask you not to be late for activities.
- Cancellations with less than 24h hours notice incur on 100% charge of the service canceled.
- Prices for activities at UXUA Hotel do not include transfer to/from Quadrado/Itapororoca. The historical Quadrado is a 20 to 30 minute drive from UXUA Maré, if you wish for a transfer please let Concierge know and one will be arranged for you (R$ 210 + 10% each way). If you have a rental car UXUA’s hotel parking is free-of-charge.
VIDA SPA
UXUA Vida Spa treatments integrate the Vida Lab’s production, and were developed with knowledge of native healers of the area and Pataxó natives, famous for their plant-based traditional medicine.
At Maré a selection of treatments is available to be enjoyed at your casa or outside, surrounded by nature and with the calming soundtrack of waves and local birds.
RELAXING MASSAGE WITH ALMESCAR OIL
UXUA signature deeply relaxing massage
Almescar oil is distilled by the Pataxó from locally harvested almescar tree resin, which they use as a sacred remedy. The oil has antioxidant properties and delivers a musky scent not only to relax the body, but also act as a natural insect repellent.
Additional aromatherapy facial pad filled with relaxing lavender and chamomile available.

AFTER SUN REPAIR WITH COCONUT OIL
reduces redness and repairs skin after sun exposure
Taken after a day at the beach, this treatment not only relaxes the body but also reduces sunburn and redness while preventing skin-peeling. Made with 100% extra-virgin pure coconut oil produced locally in Trancoso, a high-quality, artisanal oil that requires 2 to 4 weeks to press.

PATAXÓ RITUAL
a journey to Caraíva and the Pataxó community
Get prepared to visit Caraíva and be welcomed in a small Pataxó community, Porto do Boi. Expect to have your spirit "cleaned" with almescar sacred resin and traditional face painting and dancing. An authentic experience.
